Community Partnerships

We have great community support!

Our Board of Directors are all volunteer.

Huntingdon County and local municipalities have helped find properties for us to rehab as well as worked to develop grants for some of our builds.

Local building materials companies and hardware stores, including ACE Hardware,  Allensville Planing Mill, 84 Lumber, Your Building Center and Endres have contributed money and materials on many of our builds.

Standing Stone Coffee Company and Sheetz give us drinks and coffee for our breaks. Occasionally, churches bring refreshments to our builds.

And we have also benefitted from generous contributions of time and expertise from professionals, including builders, attorneys, real estate professionals, insurance professionals, website designers and bankers.

The Juniata College Chapter of Habitat for Humanity has contributed their muscle on a number of our builds.

The Daily News has followed our progress and helped to share it with the community.

The Stone Church of the Brethren has been a long-standing supporter by offering office and meeting space since our inception in 1988.

Thank you to all of our community partners for their contributions to Huntingdon Area Habitat for Humanity!
